MANDEVILLA

Inspiring Short film presented by the Korean American Family Service Center. Please watch it. If you or know of anyone who is suffering any kind of abuse, there is help out there. Please try to seek it out. I grew up in an abusive household, with an undiagnosed bipolar dad, he still is being stubborn and refusing to seek any counseling. Especially for the childhood trauma he suffered from his birth mother and grandmother. I suffered from depression while in high school and was lucky enough to find help at the Coastal Asian Pacific Mental Health Center. I can’t imagine what my life would have been like if I never meet Kimberley. She rebuilt my self confidence and I was able to live my life happy and look forward to tomorrow. We all deserve to live happy. This stigma of seeking mental help is hindering people from getting better. I just wish the Korean community would offer more education about mental health. Everyone needs to go see a therapist I think, lol. Happy Well being.
